Athlete Resilience Coaching

For athletes, former athletes and high performers

The goal is not just to perform at a high level, but to build the capacity to thrive in sport, training, and life…

At its core, the Athlete Resilience Program is about more than performance. It’s about helping you navigate pressure, setbacks, and uncertainty with greater confidence and steadiness.

What often gets missed in traditional performance training is the role of the nervous system: the internal system that shapes how you experience pressure, recovery, focus, and emotional regulation in real time.

This program integrates that missing layer, helping you develop mental, emotional, and physical resilience so you can perform more consistently, recover more effectively, and respond to stress with greater capacity.

By learning to work with your body, mind, and nervous system, not against them, you gain practical tools to handle challenges, recover more effectively, and sustain performance over time.

"Over the last few years, Nervous system training has become an integral part of my daily routine, and it has allowed me to be at my physical best and my mental best on the field. The ability to regulate my nervous system was a crucial component for me during the summer of 2023 when I competed for team USA in the middle of a full PLL season. Despite playing the most lacrosse I had in my entire life over a 3 month span, I felt that my recovery and stamina on game day was far ahead of my ahead of my peers. This was a direct result of my nervous system work with Emily."

1. Athlete mental performance support for overcoming injury, chronic stress and performance anxiety

Many athletes and high performers come into this work because something feels inconsistent, harder to manage, or more draining than it used to….

You might notice:

  • Chronic stress or overthinking that impacts performance

  • A loud inner critic or perfectionism, especially after mistakes or setbacks

  • Difficulty managing energy, focus, or recovery consistently

  • Feeling mentally or emotionally overloaded under pressure

  • Constant pressure to produce, perform, and “stay on” with little room to slow down

  • Mental fatigue, decision overload, or chronic burnout

  • Inconsistency with routines or habits that support performance, recovery, and overall well-being

  • Navigating injury recovery, including frustration, fear of reinjury, or loss of confidence

This isn’t about a lack of discipline, toughness, or mindset. It’s about a nervous system that hasn’t been fully supported in learning how to regulate demand, recover efficiently, and return to baseline after stress.

This is exactly what this program is designed to change.

This program strengthens three core areas that drive sustainable performance:

Performance Strategies: Mental skills, focus techniques, tools to manage pressure, reset after mistakes, and prepare effectively for performance

Mind–Body Regulation: Mindfulness and body-based strategies to reduce stress, improve sleep, support recovery, regulate energy, and enhance overall performance capacity

Resilience Skills: Practical tools to navigate setbacks, manage self-talk, and work with the emotional ups and downs of sport, training, and life

Nervous system regulation for athletes to improve stress management, emotional control, and performance consistency.

Program Structure:

This 1:1 program of 4 sessions combines education and experiential learning to help athletes build resilience through nervous system flexibility:

  • Four 1:1 sessions with customized weekly programming tailored to your nervous system and performance needs

  • 60-day access to the Athlete Resiliency Lab (online and app-based platform) and Athlete Resilience Community (online and app-based community)

  • Weekly accountability and support to integrate skills into daily life and training

Continued Work: Athletes may choose to continue working with Emily for ongoing growth and support beyond the initial 60 days.

"Working with Emily has been instrumental to my success on and off the field. Good athletes train their body and skill, great ones train their brain. Addressing the mental side of sports has allowed me to stay grounded and relaxed in high pressure moments."

"Having known Emily for the past 5 years, I can not express enough how grateful I am to not only work with her, but be connected to her. Outside of being my go to person in the Mindfulness space and representing her work in my events and business Lax Lab - Mission Primed, she has helped me as an athlete and person immensely. Throughout my career, she has been a consistent voice in guiding me. Not only has she helped me navigate some of my toughest moments, but she has helped me develop holistically as a human. Specifically, Emily has expanded my knowledge in the space of nervous system health, recovery and stress management, as well as breathwork. I am grateful to call her a colleague, friend, and mentor."
