Zoe Lombard

Prior to beginning her USA Team Handball career, Zoe helped her Boston College women's soccer team reach four consecutive Women's Soccer NCAA appearances. In the summer of 2014, she attended tryouts for USA Team Handball and was asked to join following evaluations. Zoe is also currently a medical student, in her fourth year at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Carolina Campus. 

 

As a result of juggling multiple high stress, high commitment positions Zoe has turned to Mindfulness practices as a way to cope with the stressors in her life. She was first introduced to these practices in 2018 by a teammate. Breathwork and meditation have given Zoe the opportunity to elevate her game, as well as provided her an additional dimension to her performance and training.
