Get to Know Kayla
Kayla is a Professional Soccer player who last played for the Houston Dash and the Jamaican National Team. She was drafted as the 18th overall selection in the 2019 NWSL College Draft and was able to add a lot of depth to Houston's line of attack.
Kayla has been practicing yoga for several years, and is relatively new to mindfulness and meditation practices. She puts a huge emphasis on the importance of taking care of your body and mind by taking the time to recover. Kayla is also in the process of recovering from an injury, which has been a motivating factor to seek out support in the mental area of her life.
